But not without a struggle and discomfort, think about it? What are you trying to accomplish? Is it easy and breezy and no struggle at all? I didn’t think so.
The struggle is real! And yet I don’t like the struggle, it feels uncomfortable and scares me. Which is why this year I am learning about getting acquainted with the struggle and the discomfort. I would like the struggle and the discomfort to know me intimately and to know the struggle and discomfort intimately as well. We are officially in an intimate relationship, I just haven’t changed my facebook status yet (couldn’t help it).
I can’t say struggle, discomfort and I have become besties but I will say that acknowledging the struggle and discomfort proves super helpful in this exploration of each other. It’s step one and it’s monumental!
Today as we all know is Friday (PST) and our social media will be inundated with celebration, as it most def should be! Yet let’s not forget about acknowledging when there is struggle and discomfort because they act out like ignored children when ignored and will scream for attention. If we feel sensations of struggle or discomfort lets stop and acknowledge them, then we can sort things out, we can ask questions, we can honor our values and goals, we can make a plan and proceed accordingly.
All the love,
